Rare Pianos Bundle by REALSAMPLES

4.3/ 5.0 ( Total reviews: 20 )

For as low as $49.95 (instead of $279.90) with your rewards cash, get the Rare Pianos Bundle from REALSAMPLES featuring 2 piano libraries for Kontakt – the Swiss Grand & the Luthéal Piano!

The Swiss Grand offers a full-bodied, warm yet transparent tone with a raunchy bass in a league of its own. It is presented in its original tuning at 437 Hz (presets in 440 Hz are available as well).

Luthéal Piano is probably one of the rarest piano instruments, with only one instrument left. Invented by the Belgian George Cloetens, it uses a grand piano with a so-called luthéal mechanism to alter the tone with dampers and nails. Built-in 1919/1922 and completely restored, it resides at the musical instruments museum in Brussels.

Originally $279.90, the Rare Pianos Bundle is now available for just $49.95 with your rewards cash – you save over $200! This is an amazing offer you should not miss!

Overview

Swiss Grand – featuring an 1860 concert grand by the manufacturer Hüni & Hübert. When the Zürich-based company burnt down in 1883, they were the largest piano manufacturer in Switzerland. It is presented in its original tuning at 437 Hz (presets in 440 Hz are available as well). We captured the sound with 32 velocity layers per note for an expressive dynamic range. Furthermore, we recorded 8 key release sounds per key. The sample library contains over 3.400 samples in total.

Invented by the Belgian George Cloetens, it uses a grand piano with a so-called luthéal mechanism to alter the tone with dampers and nails. Built in 1919/1922 and completetly restored, it resides at the musical instruments museum in Brussels. The luthéal may well be called the “original prepared piano”: Maurice Ravel composed works specifically for this instrument. Hence, conductors worldwide inquire to rent the instrument. Shipping the last of its kind around the globe turned out too risky, so the mim and realsamples teamed up …
