Analog Lab hands you the sound engines behind Arturia's entire V Collection. What it does not hand you is 724 presets built for the records being made right now.

Audio Juice makes exactly that, and this is every bank they have ever released, in one APD exclusive. Twelve soundbanks, 724 presets, sold separately on their own store for $339.88. Here it is $14.99, which works out at $1.25 a bank.

The banks were programmed with contemporary R&B, hip hop, trap, pop, Afrobeat and hyperpop in mind, with named reference points like 6LACK, Jhene Aiko, Don Toliver, Travis Scott and Summer Walker. In practice that means keys and pads dominate the collection, with leads, arps, bells, plucks, basses, mallets, winds and soundscapes filling in around them. Many of the presets are multisampled, so repeated notes vary slightly instead of machine-gunning.

Installation is one step. Open Analog Lab, hit Import, point it at the .labx file, and the bank appears in your browser alongside the factory content. No new plugin, no new authorisation, no second library manager. Everything stays where you already work.

Each bank also ships bonus WAV content: one-shots pulled from the presets for use in any sampler, plus melody and percussion loops you can chop. Complete install is 3.75 GB across 195 files, so budget the disk space before you download.

One thing to do first: switch on Display Legacy Sounds in Analog Lab's settings. Most of these banks draw on Arturia's legacy instrument sounds, and without that toggle a chunk of the presets will not show up. It is a one-time setting.

Requirements and compatibility

• Requires Arturia Analog Lab V or Analog Lab Pro (Analog Lab V was renamed Analog Lab Pro; the banks work in either). Mac and Windows.
• Banks are supplied as .labx files. Install via Analog Lab's menu, then Import, then select the .labx file.
• Display Legacy Sounds must be switched on in Analog Lab's settings for all presets to appear. Nine of the twelve banks state this requirement.
• Bonus content is delivered as WAV files and works in any DAW or sampler.
• 3.75 GB of free disk space required after extraction, across 195 files.
