German Lautenwerck - samples of a long-gone instrument: The Lautenwerck was one of Johann Sebastian Bach's favourites. It's basically a harpsichord with gut strings for a lute-like response. Not a single instrument survived. Collector Andreas Beurmann had a Lautenwerck instrument rebuilt according to original drawings.
German Theorbo-Harpsichord - also a long-gone instrument: Its concept is similar, but like a "big brother": It has a larger body, different stops (2x16') plus a metal-strung 4' stop. This adds chimey sounds.
German Lautenwerck library: A "Lautenwerck" was one of Johann Sebastian Bach's favourite instruments. No instrument survived.
