At the heart of Prodigy are two analog-modeled voltage-controlled oscillators paired with a dedicated sub-oscillator and a selectable noise generator for added low-end weight and grit. Oscillator 2 features precise hard sync to Oscillator 1, allowing you to dial in sharp, biting lead tones and tearing frequency modulation sweeps. Unlike the original hardware, Martinic adds manual pulse-width control and variable pulse-width modulation across both main oscillators, significantly expanding your palette for wide, evolving synthetic textures.

The synth's filter section centres on a 24 dB per octave ladder low-pass filter equipped with bass compensation to prevent thin low frequencies when turning up the resonance.
