Omega Drums for Kontakt

Omega Drums is a collection of earth shattering cinematic drums for the full version of Kontakt 4 or higher.

There’s no small percussion here – only absolutely HUGE, monstrous drums that would make the trolls from Khazad Dûm run scared! The drums recorded were:

• 4 large Taikos
• 4 Toms
• 2 Concert Bass Drums (Gran Casas)
• Multiple combinations of Taikos & Bass drums

Various combinations of players and techniques were recorded to give a stunning collection of sounds that work immediately in any cinematic track.

Simple Easy-to-Use Interface

The idea behind Omega Drums was to create a simple library of cinematic drums that are perfect for layering and enhancing percussive cues or cinematic tracks. Therefore, we kept the interface simple to give you instant access to the sounds and controls needed.

The custom Kontakt GUI offers instant control over 8 parameters; pitch, hi cut, lo cut, reverb, attack, decay, sustain and release.

The library contains 1 Kontakt instrument with all drums mapped to the keyboard on that single patch. There’s no small sounding drums in here – only big fat cinematic drums that will blow your socks off!

6 Dynamic Layers with 7 Round Robins for Stunning Realism

These drums were recorded in a large concert hall with a selection of the best microphones available including Neumanns, Schoeps, DPA’s, Coles, AKG, Sennheiser and Shure mics.

Each drum hit has 7 round robins with up to 6 dynamic layers per hit, resulting in an incredibly high level of realism.

All of the unlocked .WAV files are also included if you’d rather drag and drop them into your project than use the Kontakt interface!
