Getting a clean, chest-thumping low end without muddying the rest of your mix can take hours of micro-adjustments. SLAM2 solves this with a targeted low-end processing section consisting of Mud Cut, Thump, and Boom. The Mud Cut control uses a musical high-pass filter to strip away unwanted low-frequency buildup while preserving core instrument body. Thump applies a variable peak filter to boost low-mid impact where kick drums and basslines hit hardest, while Boom acts as a sub-harmonic generator, adding deep low-octave harmonics to thin samples and weak bass tracks.

Multi-Stage Saturation, High-End Sparkle, and Dynamic Control

Adding warmth and punch across mid and high frequencies is effortless thanks to SLAM2's Heat, Airz, and Pop controls. The Heat parameter offers two distinct flavors of harmonic saturation smooth analog warmth or tube-style grit—to glue instruments together and add harmonic color. Airz introduces top-end clarity and shimmer that helps vocals sit forward in the mix without introducing harshness.
