Revolutionary AI Technology: Unlike traditional DSP methods, TAIP utilizes AI and neural networks to accurately decipher the sonic characteristics that make a tape machine sound and behave authentically. This AI-based emulation of a 1971 European tape machine provides a more faithful approach to hardware emulation. The AI is trained using in-house developed data like white noise and sine sweeps, ensuring no unlicensed third-party audio content was studied or copied. This method helps the plugin "solve the problem like a machine," resulting in a highly accurate analog emulation.

Intuitive and Versatile Feature Set for Creative Control: TAIP comes packed with innovative sound-design parameters that let you go from just 'tape' to 'beyond tape'.

• Drive: This central parameter lets you add a subtle touch of warmth or extreme saturation, providing a musically rich and pleasing sound at all levels. You can even activate "hot" input for more distortion or use the "drive auto-gain" for consistent output levels.
• Mix: Blend between the dry and wet signals, enabling parallel compression techniques for added weight on drum buses. Combining "Mix" with "Wear" can create tape flanging effects.
• Model: Choose "Single" for one tape emulation or "Dual" to combine two tape machines in a series for a subtle extra dimension and texture.
• Lo / Hi-Shape: Fine-tune the frequency response of the drive section. These faders act like an EQ or filter, allowing you to control how much the low or high frequencies are saturated, preserving or emphasizing specific ranges like the low end of an 808 bass.
• Glue: Exaggerates the natural compression effect that occurs in tape recordings, effectively reducing dynamic range and "gluing" sounds together. This natural and pleasant compression is excellent on drum buses, vocals, guitars, or even the mix bus, and can be adjusted independently of the drive level.
• Noise: Add or remove authentic tape noise to create a cozy, warm feel or obvious lo-fi effects. Noise can be gated to create "noise halos" on drum sounds or samples.
• Presence: Control the attenuation of upper mids and highs, allowing you to bring back brightness or achieve a warmer sound. It's also a valuable tool for layering sounds and adding dimension to your mix.
• Wear: Recreates the instabilities of a worn-out tape machine, introducing wow and flutter, altering frequency response, and subtly affecting the stereo image. This creates a lo-fi aesthetic or subtle organic quality, and can be used for interesting modulation effects when blended with the dry signal.
• Input: Distort the signal more or less without affecting the output level.
• Auto-Gain: Automatically adjusts the drive section's output level for a consistent plugin output.
• Brick Wall Limiter: Features a brick wall limiter at the end of the signal chain, preventing clipping in your DAW and allowing for further signal compression via the output level.
• User Interface: Enjoy a fully resizable plugin window and switch between black, gray, and white color modes.
