THE SOUL OF OLD RECORDS IN YOUR MIX. FREE
DaD Vinyl by DUY gives your tracks the sound of real old records. Instead of layering a noise sample, it uses physical modeling to recreate how a record and its playback chain shape the sound, from 33 and 45 RPM vinyl to 78 RPM shellac.
Set rumble, disc damage, tone and stereo image independently, then dial in pops and scratches to taste. You can keep it subtle for a touch of warmth or push it into a worn, much-played disc.
Hear the dust and hiss of the turntable itself, and even choose the year your recording was made, so the character of the format matches the era you are after.
The plugins are tiny, from 14 MB to 24 MB depending on format, and no iLok dongle is needed.
Lo-fi beats, sample flips, retro intros and cinematic flashbacks all benefit from a convincing record sound. DaD Vinyl is normally $56.35, and it is yours free for two weeks.
