Independent Multi-Lane Architecture and Euclidean Spacing

At the heart of SwarmSeq are eight independent sequencing lanes, each customizable with its own step length ranging from 1 all the way up to 32 steps. This independent step-count setup allows you to easily create complex time-signature interactions, cross-rhythms, and polymetric arrangements that never repeat in the exact same way twice. SwarmSeq gives you direct control over sequence evolution while your project plays back. You can rotate individual lane grooves and shift timing phase on the fly to push or pull accents against the main beat. When you need fresh inspiration, activate the internal mutation engine to let patterns continuously evolve, shifting step velocities, accents, and probability parameters in real time. Once the engine hits a captivating pattern, simply engage the Freeze button to lock that exact state in place, preserving your favorite generated groove for the duration of your mix.

Flexible MIDI Routing and Standalone Performance

Whether you choose to drive internal patches or external gear, SwarmSeq adapts effortlessly to your preferred production environment. Multi-channel MIDI output routing allows you to trigger external software synths, hardware instruments, or multi-timbral samplers simultaneously across separate MIDI channels, or you can utilize the internal drum engine for immediate standalone sketching. Built for macOS and Windows systems, SwarmSeq operates smoothly as a VST3 and Audio Units (AU) plugin within major DAWs, as well as a lightweight standalone application that runs completely outside your digital audio workstation without iLok activation requirements.
